Mappae Mundi are drawings from the Middle Ages, not mapping geographic facts but trying to capture the mixture of place, history and anthropology, myth and scripture, dreams and nightmares that make up our worlds.

48” x 36”, oil paint, graphite and acrylic underpainting on 1.5” deep cradled wood panel, unframed. Edges are finished so the painting is ready to hang without framing.
